A Christ-like Protest Against M&S & RSPCA. By Dr. Chapman Chen

"But go and learn what this means: 'I desire compassion, rather than sacrifice,' for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners," says Jesus (Matthew 9:13 NASB).
"But if you had known what this means, 'I desire compassion, and not a sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent," says Jesus (Matthew 12:7 NASB).

A protest organized by Joy Samantha, James Christian, and Midlands Animal Rights (in conjunction with Animal Rising) against M&S for selling products made from badly abused animals, as endorsed by the RSPCA, took place outside (and at one point, inside) the Longbridge branch in Birmingham from 1 pm through 4 pm today (Jan. 18, 2025). When outside, we held signboards and did leafleting cum outreach. When inside, we staged a silent sit-in in the murdered chicken aisle.
While M&S actively provides options for vegans, they also claim to be the only company whose sole dairy supplier comes from RSPCA Assured Farms. Unfortunately, farms that hold the RSPCA Assured certification for both dairy and meat are often just as bad, if not worse, than other farms.
Marks & Spencer are deceiving the public by placing buttons next to these products featuring cheerful-looking pigs, cows, and chickens. This serves to further indoctrinate both adults and children, making them believe that the animals who were slaughtered had previously enjoyed a good life and that purchasing Assured products is the most ethical choice.

Recently, Chris Packham and Caroline Lucas have quitted the RSPCA due to the organization's refusal to discontinue its RSPCA Assured Scheme.
This event aims to inform M&S customers by debunking the misleading claims they are being fed—both figuratively and literally.
Big food companies and pseudo-animal-protection NGOs, put down your evil knives; follow the Vegan Christ!
