What may happen tmr at HK Legco concerning the Extradition Bill? By Chapman Chen, HKBNews

An Extradition Bill Committee, set up by Hong Kong pro-CCP lawmakers in co-operation with the Legislative Council Secretariat, presided over by Abraham Shek, excluding pan-democracy lawmakers, will hold the panel's next meeting in Conference room number 1 in Legco on Saturday morning. It is hereby predicted that when the meeting starts, the pan-democrats will protest that only their committee is the legitimate one. Shek will then order security guards to forcefully escort all the pan-democracy lawmakers out of the conference room, after which those pro-CCP will pass the Extradition Law or Fugitive Offenders Ordinance easily, efficiently and fast. A USCC report has recently warned that once the Bill is passed, America would consider canceling the Hong Kong Policy Act.

Meanwhile, cops may attack and arrest protesters outside the Legco Building. Two days ago, tear gas canisters fell off a police vehicle on Connaught Road in Central. One activist protesting against the Bill outside the Legco with a sign was arrested this evening. A USCC report has recently warned that once the Bill is passed, America would consider canceling the Hong Kong Policy Act.

According to a circular, apparently issued by the council's administrative wing, the most senior lawmaker present would preside over the proceedings. In terms of experience in Legco, this would be the Democratic Party's James To rather than Shek. Now adamant that he has been elected chairman of the committee, James To slated a 9am meeting to coincide with the session announced by Shek.
